Walk & Talk (Silver Linings 8-7-2020)

heart

August 11, 2020

I won’t repeat the million questions everyone has in their heads right now about school.  We all know them.

I just finished talking with my sister.  She has it doubly hard.  She works in a university, and the demands to prepare for student return to campus are huge.  She’s trying to meet all the questions, find answers and make contingency plan upon contingency plan.  At the same time, she has a young daughter who should be in elementary school fulltime.  Like many other districts (and like her own university), there are still so many things left in the air.

But, she is determined to get out for her daily exercise.  Today, this became a “walk and talk”—with me.  We had about an hour to just catch up—on COVID-19, work frustrations and general life, too.  We even found a few laughs to share. A silver lining for both of our days!

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
