It seems impossible, from a pure numbers point of view, but somehow today is vaccination day for myself—and three friends. Even stranger, for our little state, we four are assigned to three different locations, and we’ll get at least two different types of vaccines.
Last night, during our family Zoom conversation, everyone vaccination status (and a few reactions).
Today, when I interviewed a young man from Sri Lanka—who is currently living in Saudi Arabia and who wants to come to the USA, we talked vaccines.
What sort of a level of crazy have I reached that I feel like I’ve just joined a new club?
And after more than a year of pandemic discussions, is it any surprise that joining the ranks of the vaccinated makes my silver lining for today?
