Socialization Joy

smile

March 6, 2021

After two Saturdays lost to COVID lockdowns, my daughter and I returned to our normal routine.  We delivered eggs where we chatted with neighbors briefly.  We hit the grocery store and bought the week’s food.  And we brought a small flower to our friends, our ploy to visit them and check in on them in general.

I spoke with the neighbors for about five minutes, maybe ten. We spoke with our other friends for maybe fifteen.

I feel like I’ve won the socialization lottery today.  It’s more interaction than I’ve had with people (other than my family) in two weeks.

Silver lining:  feeling such connectedness in such a small amount of time!  Who knew it was even possible?

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
