Persistence

Have you noticed this?

People are not as willing to take “no” for an answer anymore.  Over the last year, we’ve learned how to be more creative with everything.  Can’t go into work?  Bring work home.  Can’t attend a meeting in person?  Put it on Zoom.  Not able to host a big family holiday celebration?  Create a new tradition.

I find I’m even doing it with work-related things.  One program says that something is impossible?  Ask a different company, see if they have perhaps thought of a work-around.  Someone backs out because their situation is different from when they first signed up?  Wish them well–and move onto the next person.

Looking for a different has become second nature now… which is likely a silver lining that I needed to learn!

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
