Living Their Best Lives

March 29, 2021

My friend’s text came through late last night.  Her daughter’s next Tanzanian adventure was going swimming with the dolphins!

Last week, she sent us photos of elephants.  Before that, she was volunteering in an orphanage.

She “should” be in college, but has chosen to wait a year until things are a bit more normal.  Her first year out of high school has not been what she had envisioned—including the part where she spent a week with COVID.

Instead, she’s found time to visit a family friend–in Tanzania.  It’s the ultimate silver lining for her (and rather inspirational for the rest of us).

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
