Ag Abroad
What's Your Dream?

Global Cow organizes international training experiences, mostly in dairy.
Some Global Cow clients come to the USA, some are US citizens going abroad. Although we are based in the USA, sometimes the opportunities have nothing to do with the USA, like a young lady from Finland who traveled to Colombia, or the a young man from Uganda who went to Peru.
Over 1500 young people have come to “learn by doing”. They have gained valuable international work experience in their career field.
Global Cow offers flexibility:
- Some programs require a foreign language; some don’t.
- Some offer language training at a additional cost.
- You can choose your time length, from only a few weeks to a full year.
- You can be placed in agricultural programs outside of dairying–sheep, horses, beef cattle and more are available in some countries.

One more thought:
Let’s talk about money.
If you are worried about the financial part–especially if you are already paying for college or college loans–you can still travel abroad!
First, consider staying longer than just a summer. If you can stay for at least six months, or, even better, a full year, there are several choices that have a salary.
Think about what you’ll bring back, and how that might change your career. If you already speak basic Spanish, what will it mean for you if you can become really fluent? What will it mean if you have extensive knowledge of a pasture-based dairy? Will your contacts from this new country be useful to your employer?
An international experience is a great investment in your future!
