Learning (Silver Linings, 10-17-2020)

testing

October 19, 2020

I have spent much of this past week learning new things.

In trying to figure out how to self-publish this book (that I hope someone beyond my mother reads), I have been wading into all sorts of areas that I knew nothing about.  How do you know if the title of your book is right?  What should the book description say?  What makes a good author bio?  Which author photo presents the image of me that makes sense? How do you test these things?

Turns out there is a lot I don’t know.

But happily, it also turns out there are a lot of helpful resources around.  I’ve read books on the process, talked to published authors, watched webinars, read blog posts, and viewed Youtube videos.

Learning is good… and is my silver lining for today.

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
