Today was “doggie gathering day” for the weekend.  Because it is Easter weekend, I thought everyone might be too busy. 

I started by just asking one friend, the closest neighbor, if our dogs might get together.  She thought at least one other friend would want to come, so I sent out the text invite.  To my great surprise, most could come.  We ended up with nine dogs and seven women.

Turns out that the normal spring things are… well, just not happening.  High school lacrosse games have not yet started.  Family gatherings?  Not encouraged, and definitely not across state lines. Easter egg hunts?  Nope, not this year either. 

Turns out we were all free on what should usually be a super-busy weekend.  Silver lining!
