Pizza Night (Silver Linings 6-9-2020)

June 11, 2020

Tonight we held an impromptu backyard pizza night with two neighbors.

It’s Tuesday.  It’s not “supposed” to be a night for gathering.  If it were a “normal” week, we’d have two kids studying for finals.  Another off on his internship.

We would have pushed this type of supper off to a weekend before.

Instead, we sat together as a family—along with two guests.  The slower pace allows for this sort of spontaneity.

I am feeling rather grateful for the silver lining tonight!

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
