We have two partners in Australia, both of whom specialize in opportunities in agriculture for young people.
The first is a placement company that has worked with international exchange visitors for many years. They offer a work experience/cultural exchange training program for people aged 18-30 with experience in rural industries who are ready to broaden their horizons. For this program, we can only accept people from the following countries: Argentina, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Republic of Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA and Vietnam.
The second program is a direct work program, and can accept applicants from almost every country. As Colombia is not on the first program list, this second program has been the program of choice for Colombia. They also have an age limit of 30. They have additional options of placements in piggery positions and wineries. (You must have education in these areas in order to apply.)
